Even if our names are remembered, it doesn't change anything. Knowing the names and deeds of people long gone isn't much different than thinking about fictional characters, it's just a name and a concept at our minds.

I used to always wanted to be known for having a huge impact on the world or not be remembered at all. Either way I knew my life would end by my own hands. I think now I've gotten to the point where I just want people to understand that I wasn't ignoring them. That when I all of a sudden became that shy, introverted, person 13 years ago it was because anxiety and depression had consumed me and I didn't think anyone would want to associate themselves with me. I considered myself of the lowest class. I'd just like them to be aware of what I was facing all this time.

I know either way I will be remembered amongst my family and friends and want to leave one good picture of myself for them to have for my obituary.

I hate it when people completely obsess of the death of others when, IRL they didn't give a shit. They make tributes and crap, but when that person was alive, they didn't really seem to care.

My thoughts on this have changed very often in the past, but if I am to be remembered, I want to be remembered as the person everyone believed me to be, not the one I actually was.
