  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

There are people out there who are systematically searching for the truth. Personally, I am interested in human biases or media biases. But I think I am better in noticing the former ones.

I think I have the pathological tendency to predict the future. I use these prediction as tool. I use catastrophizing as a way to cope. I have so much anxiety that clinging to suicide comforts me. I think I have an instrumental relationship with the truth. And maybe that's an issue for my mental health. I think many times black or white. I have a low tolerance for ambiguity especiallly when it comes to the future. I am pretty pessimistic. On the other hand I am an honest person and I try to be good. I don't lie that often. I am pretty bad at lying. In this instance the truth is no instrument for me. For some lying is a tool in order to manipulate.

Furthermore, I think I am pretty much of a loudmouth. I claim a lot when it comes to politics. I like to share my opinion. And many have strong opinions especially on the internet. It makes fun. But for these people it is a competition. It is rather more about narratives and not taking the L. For our societies the emphasis on strong opinions might be pretty detrimental because it fuels polarization if everyone claims to be an expert in any field. It is the entry in the postmodern age.
