I don't want to get into gender wars but I've noticed that male/vs female sexuality seems to be way different to males. Reading women online and talking to women friends, it seems that none of them have ever been sexually attracted to a random man no matter how good looking whereas many of my male friends have gotten aroused by hot women they don't know.

It seems that women also really have a boundary between friends, family members and partners that men are willing to cross. I also know a few people who have admitted being attracted to their relatives and unsurprisingly, all men. Also many male friends talk about fantasizing about female friends all the time.

Are women in general less sexual than men? I know testosterone is directly correlated to sex drive.

Now that you asked, I'm wondering about it too. Heard of parental investment theory? It costs women more than men to produce the offspring and to ensure it will survive and reproduce in turn. Human males can theoretically leave more offspring than women. One babymaker takes a lot of time and energy to produce babies, and can only produce babies from one male at a time. Males compete for the access to females and females try to choose the best option since for a female choice matters a lot. Evolution probably selected women to be careful in who they fuck with, while men are much more indiscriminate in fucking.

Looking back at my school environment, I can remember boys liking lots of different girls while lots of girls were liking the same few boys. I can envision a woman fantasizing about some particular male but a male stranger implies an unassessed male... he has to look exceptionally good or something, to make up for not knowing much about that person. I'm not a female. But my attraction level goes up with the better I know a person. The more I see them, the more I realistically notice them. I don't believe in worshipping someone like a shrine. So liking someone aesthetically is out of the picture. People literally have to impress me, whether it be grand or through little gestures, to work theirselves into my fantasies. Maybe that makes me stuck up, but I like to think it just doesn't make me easy.

It's just that it's somehow socially acceptable for men to express their random sexual desires out loud all the time. Can't say I've ever been sexually frustrated, never had sex either which probably explains a lot. But I've never felt any urgent need to play with myself either. It does seem to relieve a lot of built up tension however.
