I am reporting a very recent event, a girl in my university jumped from a three story building, it wasn't high enough to cause death on impact it was poorly researched or thought about. Mostly impulsive. The CCTV footage shows she didn't even hesitate for a second. She suffered immensely and unfortunately survived ( the extent of injuries is unknown at this point, but looks very poor )
What makes these people not think rationally? Or, do we overthink too much, clearly what she did was stupid, but I wish I had this impulsivity + a well researched method and fully intact rationality when I attempt.
Maybe, when you are impulsive you can't be rational at the same time.
Even under perfect circumstances no one can be sure of the of the outcome 100%...what percentage or likelihood probability is acceptable to go ahead even with the uncertainty,
