Method Do they offer pain relief medicine to hunger strikers

I've seen info which says hunger strikers usually die between 46 to 73 days. But SaSu says VSED is impossible. How did the hunger strikers go then? Will they offer pain relief medicine to all hunger strikers

I don't think anyone says it's impossible you will just need a lot of willpower to go through with it. It's highly unlikely to be successful and how many hunger strikers die or give up among all hunger strikers.

After a few days, you no longer feel much starvation or pain. The only real problem I had at day 20 I think of starving myself was that I wasn't able to walk much anymore, started getting really dizzy and almost fainting.

My guess is that if anyone in authority found out what you were doing, you'd be strapped to a hospital bed and force fed via a nasal-gastric tube. Pain medication would be unlikely.

that or brutal intervention bc suicide is a crime

if they hunger striking in the first place i cant imagine pain relief being given is a situation they are in

usually vsed and pain relief is hospice for terminal illness capcity assesment and legal aggrements no life saving treatments but made comfortable with strong meds and personal care

prisoners and psych patients don't have bodily autonomy only if they are left to rot abandoned and that would be needed if they were to see a hunger strike through so they won't be getting any comfy pain relief they would be raw dogging it i could imagine their situation would be very grim and very bleak isolated in a cell years more grim misery in front of them
