Really? Humans seem very stupid to me if life is only about shaming people to be alive. I really feel like there's no point anymore because this just adds to the list of reasons why not to be alive.

It's even worse when you have attempted and family gives you guilt on top of all of the other platitudes.

Suffering is subjective. You can go through the same thing as someone else but because you are genetically different you interpret things differently and feel things differently.

Good old fashioned guilt given with hard stares (I don't know if I should ____________, because YOU KNOW) type of stuff. Rather than come out and actually say what is on their mind....Avoidance and guilt. I wasn't given a chance to heal at all. It has been hell.

Yeah people in general are pretty irrational, stupid, and just pass on platitudes said by others. Fuck most of them. I had people IRL in the past use those platitudes and other ones too.

They think suicide is like the worst possible thing a human can do and what not
its honestly much worse to live and suffer than to end it.
People just feel good about themselves when they tell others " what will happen to xyz if you die " and basically guilt trip someone to a life of suffering.

I totally get this, but also at the same time there's certain people I wish WOULD guilt trip me instead of just flat out not caring. Both hurt really.

I made the mistake of opening up a little to let a friend know about suicidal thoughts. Won't make that mistake again. She tried the same guilt cards you talk about, but as I said to her, why should I continue to suffer to keep you happy?

It baffles me that people think they can FORCE us to stay. Yet if you want to impose life everyone throws a party. My answers to your 3 examples are:

"others have it worse" - pain is pain so it shouldn't matter. You have the right to end your imposition since you didn't impose it on yourself.

"suicide will "pass" on the pain to others" - With life comes loss. You didn't agree live as someone's human heroin needle. Look at all the suffering life has "passed" to you.

"it's giving up/the easy way out" - Nature designed life to give up on itself. That's why everyone dies eventually. Everyone deserves an easy way out. Do people want to make it difficult? Fuck them!. Shouldn't have to "shake" for your exit.
