Recently in my country there's been a surge of suicides in the news cycle, and they're being actively investigated, the police are searching through phones and personal belongings. That makes me very scared for my family, if i leave a note will they be left alone? I was debating on leaving a note to my mother anyway, now I'm thinking I have to

I want to leave a note- but it seems like it'd be heart wrenching to write. I don't want to leave my family with nothing, but writing these notes might break me or change my mind. I just want to go. I'm sure your mother will know you loved her, with or without a note. And I'm not sure if a note will stop these investigations if your country is being very serious about this. I'm so sorry you have to worry about this

Personally, If you love your mother than she deserves closure if you go through with it.

You should probably leave a note. It may change your mind but it might also reaffirm your choices. Just make sure you wipe your devices before you punch your ticket. That way theres nothing to find. A 7pass erase should do it.
