DMC order stuck in customs

I ordered from DMC from an EU country and the package is stuck in customs. I called the national post carrier and they told me I need to register myself with the Customs site, provide all my data, residency card, etc, provide what the package contains, how much I paid for it, where I got it from.
I ordered from outside of EU before (e.g. from US) but I just paid customs at the local post office. I have never been asked to register with Customs and provide all this data.
I don't know what to do. I paid for express shipping and yet they still sent it with local post carrier and local carrier is the most likely to get stopped at customs here.
But the first time I am asked to register.
I paid 80 dollars, should I just let it go?
Advice?
And they want me to upload the invoice. I don't have an invoice

You probably have no choice but to let it go :(
Or maybe you can try to register and create a proforma invoice. Cause technically SN isn't prohibited, so there's basically almost no risk.

What country are you from? I wonder, and these are just my thoughts, if customs or mail carriers etc, sometimes hone in on 'express' parcels. I bought from DMC at a normal delivery rate as I figured (or hoped) it wouldn't be singled out. I got it but that doesn't mean that's the reason why.

They could be collecting evidence against the seller and creating a database of his customers, to see who is using this substance for non-intended purposes. While it is not a seller's responsibility to interrogate the customers, such tiny details have never prevented the governments going above and around the laws.

I was so paranoid when I ordered mine because I knew it risked a welfare check from the police here, but I decided it was worth the risk if it meant I got the SN. I am not for a minute though telling you to risk anything, I'm merely stating issues I faced.

Oh no don't give customs anything, that package is a lost cause, just let dmc know that their packaging and shipping in your country is compromised and they will work out something with you, they have a reputation to uphold and they seem to have good customer care.

Issues like yours are why users on this site really shouldn't post pictures of his packaging and shipping methods because I think some prolifer may have sent a picture to customs last month when people were posting their packages and now they may be tracking his patterns and confiscating any suspicious packages.
