I ordered SN from DMC on November 14 and now I'm in a difficult situation since Canada Post is on strike and I used a Canada Post Flex Delivery location (basically a PO box) as my shipping address.
Here's what has happened so far:
So, uh... Does anyone know what's going on? Any chance the package will go to some distribution centre in my province where I can pick it up manually? Should I just make another order from DMC and have it shipped to a home address? Can I redirect the package while it's shipping? Should I say something to DMC? Would it make sense to wait out the strike? Am I asking too many questions? Any help would be appreciated, even if it's just something like "oh wow that sucks."
Here's what has happened so far:
- November 14: I made my order
- November 15: Canada Post went on strike
- November 16: I emailed DMC asking how the strike might affect my order and if I could change my shipping address
- November 17:
- DMC emailed back, saying he didn't know how the strike would affect my order and asking if I wanted to change my shipping address.
- I said I'd like him to withhold from shipping my order until I've found another address. (I don't want to use my home address because I live with my parents, so I was planning to look into other PO boxes.)
- The order shipped anyway that evening >_<
- I haven't talked to DMC since then. (I guess I can ask him for clarification, but I'd feel kinda stupid asking "hey I know it said it shipped but like did it actually ship???")
