For the older ones who used to love watching Windows fix the C drive, there is a website that replicates the process, complete with hard drive sounds. Watch for a bit of zen.

For the kiddos out there, when a file was saved to the hard disk, it was slapped where there was room, often breaking the file into pieces. When retrieving the file, it had to then be read from a dozen places and on an HDD, that us very slow. So, every once in a while, yiy could tell Windows to defrayment the hard drive which found all the pieces of files and lined them up in a row. This made things a bit faster for a while.

Modern computers do this in the background for HDDs and avoid it for SSDs as it wears them out faster.

Dude, this is so fucking beatiful you made my day. Also a small tip for anyone on Windows. Windows 10 and 11 are stupid and will sometimes defrag your SSDs for no reason. This wears them out. If you want to check if that's happening type defrag - > change settings - > Disks - > only select your HDDs. I had windows reck one of my SSDs so now I always do it when I reinstall my OS.
