To be honest, I don't really understand why you'd look for servers like that here. Especially after reading threads where users were stalked or threatened. I wouldn't join any Discord server or Telegram group that someone shared here.

Can just be discords for other topics. I used to be part of a few discord groups and forums that I realized gave me some routine that was helpful to check in on. Don't have any like that anymore.
Ones related to fandom stuff, gaming, science/technology, subculture stuff...

discord is too risky for discussions like that, especially after they introduced their 'account standing' system

Y'all it's mostly about community and finding a place to just establish routines. There is a purpose and it's not about privacy or anything. If you don't want to have that that's fine. Discord is arbitrary and you can by all means suggest another platform/site/app to enjoy for the same purpose.
The purpose again is to have something to check on that is interesting.

while i understand your wishes for a community and such -- if a discord server gets reported, all accounts that have joined said server may get nuked as well. even if you lurk on it. there can be multiple malicious actors to it, not just lack of privacy.Last edited:

Feel free to not participate in them then, I think many people are part of servers and they get along just fine. But regardless it doesn't seem like many people here care to share anything they're a part of it's a moot point. But regardless to anyone viewing this thread who wants some good places, just go to disboard.org and search for words for topics relevant to you to find new discord channels. There are a few good ones I've discovered that way in this last week.Similar threads
