[UPDATED] Discord invitiations from bad actors.

Hello everyone.

It seems there are a few bad actors in this community trying to lure members of our forum into Discord servers with the goal to expose them to abuse. So if anyone here invites you into a Discord server and you're suddenly confronted with toxicity and bullying, take screenshots and send them to us - immediately. We will take swift and appropiate measures and remove these bad actors from this forum to ensure the safety of all members. There were reports about isolated incidents like these and I just want to inform the community for more awareness, in case it happens again.

The perpetrators in this case have been removed from this forum. Thanks for reading.

Remember to be safe than sorry...use a throwaway. They can't really do anything if they don't know your typical aliases.

Maybe use a vpn too?

Also don't use your actual email when signing up for a throwaway. Duckduckgo offers generated email addresses that will forward mail to your actual email address

It goes without saying don't use your real/full name, don't post any recognizable pictures of yourself or use them as your pfp, don't give out any specific details as to where you live, etc. Do your best to remain anonymous. Most people on this forum are trustworthy but there are outliers so use your best judgment

just another reminder about this post.

While incidents are isolated, mods have been made aware of another attempt of a group who lure members into discord servers with ill intentions.

2 users have been banned from the forum but please keep the following things in mind when interacting on the forum and contact mods with any concerns.

• Off-site invitations from users who recently joined the forum.
• Unsolicited server invitations from users with 0 prior contact.
• Servers that are newly created from recently joined members.
• Someone inviting you to a server following you posting a thread or asking for specific information.
• Servers who have a user named Novi in the member list (This is the name of a profile that they are using to seemingly defame an innocent person.)
• Their full name will not be given in order to prevent members searching for them but the acronym for the group name/server is 'NTS'

Remember that while these servers are separate from SaSu, no one on any site, forum or Discord server should ever actively encourage or suggest someone to ctb (including personal guidance,) and if that happens then the server and user profiles should be reported to Discord via the report option.

I wouldn't be surprised that some people here are guilty of that. This place is not designed for anything like this. But I wouldn't be surprised that somewhere in private chats someone tried to force someone to die. Due to anonymity, we can come across all kinds of people. Truly mentally sick people who are capable of anything really.

That's why the whole partners thread is really sketchy IMHO. What if there was a real sadist on there? You never know until it's too late.

Be safe, be smart, don't meet some random off the internet to CTB. Other than that, this site is pretty safe provided you aren't a complete idiot.
