  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Anybody here had any success with the Dignitas clinic for mental health issues?

I am thinking of applying but it seems rather expensive, I'm aware they do have funds for people in hardship though so I might apply for that if I go through them

No chance. I have heard of several cases that were rejected.

The only association that might help you is Pegasos. But even there you have to see a psychiatrist in Switzerland who has to certify the capacity of judgment. This costs additional CHF 1.000,- + travel expenses. If your application is not approved, you will lose CHF 1.500,- + CHF 1.000,- + travel expenses and anual member fee.

But I have an idea that I prefer to send you by PM.
