Isn't it stupid that life is so brutally difficult?

I mean this isn't even a sh1t post or anything but why should I put 150% effort in life and on the off chance just watch my life crumble in front me?

It's plain stupid. There's nothing beautiful or respectful about this. It's nothing grand.
It's just, summarised, plain dumb.

I can understand that I sound like a bad loser but this is the reality of life and I would like the focus to be on my statement rather than on me personally.

Is life just really easy and we're all brainwashed to believe it's hard?

Yep- I agree- it just doesn't seem worth it. The good doesn't outweigh the bad. I guess, I could change that balance if I REALLY tried but the effort in itself wouldn't be pleasant. So why bother?!! I think many of us are still here because we feel like we have to be. (For other people.)

Still- your leaving comment has also run through my head before- maybe I just make life hard in my mind... Not convinced though. I can't MAKE myself enjoy something I don't day after day and change isn't always easy, successful or even possible.

Yes, life really is so unnecessarily difficult. Life is just a continuous struggle all for nothing, there is no real benefit to any of this. People delude themselves that life has purpose but the reality is that life just leads nowhere, apart from death. Therefore it makes sense to me not to delay the inevitable, life is such a useless concept and I believe that only those who die are lucky. I would rather free myself from this life than endure more endless suffering and the idea that life is a positive thing is a delusion. Existence is simply a cruel burden, a tragic mistake, and all of the torment and torture that exists could never be anything beautiful. It would be so wrong to think like that.

I have worked a job in a profession I hate for the last 21 years to survive. Not live, not prosper, just the same crap every day just to survive. I hate it.

I too do not see the point of the struggle.

Sometimes I think life has become so complicated for humans people forget it's all about surviving and reproducing. So once you reach a certain age, if you don't have children, you aren't really needed. Most people in this situation seem to find fulfillment in other ways, but I find it very empty. I constantly question why I care about anything. As a gay man, I don't even feel the desire to reproduce, so what is the point of me and my struggles?

I think living a basic life in a first world country isn't necessarily difficult, at least for me. The kicker is that even if I maintain a 'normal' life I'm still not satisfied and happy. Life seems to always suggest that I need to move up the ladder in order to be happy.

So even if you solve all of your problems, you'll just create more in order to give yourself a challenge. I can see the Buddhist sense here of desire leading to suffering. If I could really be content with having less, than life might not be so difficult. But the fact is that it's really hard to accept what I have and where I'm at and not want more wealth, money, beauty, and fame.

And the happiest thing you could imagine can't even compare for the second the worst things you can imagine. The bad always outweighs the good.

the resaon its so hard is because everything takes ages to make a real change i mean writing anything big takes months if not years to completle our IQ our intelligence is severely restricted to hand movements and lip smacking, our intelligence is no match for what there is out there, i mean no human being is going to know what aminoacidos fold into protein structure, everything real small at the atomic level but we can't see anywhere near that level let alone manipulate atoms at the atomic level the universe is stuck in the slow lane

The system in the modern society is ungrateful for most people. Humans have long working days and some of them have long commutes to work. Most people don´t have much free time. Many people live in poverty even in rich countries. Some humans suffer from work injuries or other health problems for many years. Because of the high life expectancy in rich countries, most of human life consists of (meaningless) suffering. It´s no wonder that people commit suicide in this world of difficulties.

It all seems pointless in the end, doesn't it? Life is about suffering in one form or another. Eventually, some form of suffering finds everyone. Suffering is what governs this place, even in the animal kingdom. Animals kill just to survive, but those they kill certainly suffer before they die. There's just no escaping it. Life is all about suffering with a few respites of joy here and there, if you're lucky. If you're not so lucky.........well. If a creator is responsible for all this mess, they must be a sadist. Or, it's just a happenstance of a shit-hole, which is what I tend to believe.
