just want to know how common are welfare checks for ordering SN. im nervous about buying sn and having it get seized by Canadian customs.

I suspect the welfare checks were linked to the airbnb payment method people were using previously.

No. Then yes. Then no.
I had to order 3 separate times since I lost the first bag in a housefire. The second one came in a much larger amount (500g; minimum order amount from the vendor) thus getting detected - they probably suspected it was drugs.
I just went to the hospital, let them take the SN and ordered more when they released me. The next one was from a different vendor for about 100g and came through just fine.
It's now buried 2 feet underground in the woods in an undisclosed location where I can access it anytime no matter what.
