I was always health, and I came from a family that is very genetic gifted.

Both my parents are alive with 60 years old and they don't take any pills nor they have any desiese.

Both my grandmothers are alive, with 91 and 84 years and they are doing super fine.

I have a loot of uncles and aunts and they are all health.

Well so what happened to me? I was stupid.

I've been always skinny and had low self steem so I went to the gym like a crazy person without any regard for what may happen with my body.
3 months in, I was sort of gaining some weight but must have done something super wrong because I destroyed my LES and got an Hiatus Hernia.
2 years later I got gastroparesis. I'm sure it must be related.

You can't begin to understand what that did to me.

Sad part is, I never had a girlfriend in my life, and just got one near 9 months ago. I had so many plains for what I'd like to do with her, travel, go to raves, etc, and now I can't xD, move in toguether, have kids, etc. and now I can't xD

Just wanna die baddly, but I think i'll go on util she brakes up with me.

Gastroparesis sucks. I think I got it from drug/alcohol abuse but there's no way to know for sure. I'm so sorry you have it too.

Permanent/chronic health issues could lead to suicidal thoughts because our bodies won't be the same. Acceptance is hard for some people. Best thing to do is to find ways to cope.

What is LES? How do you know the hernia and gastroparesis are from that? Did you see a doctor?

Sorry to hear about your health issues.

One has to accept chronic illness and go on, live according to ones functional means. It took me 22 years to fully accept my health problems, and the fact that I cant do anything about it.

Something that I can recommend is hope as a coping mechanism, do things that creates hope.

Well, let's see...

I fried my brain with copious ammounts of pot, lsd and worst of all, spice (K2, synthetic marijuana). I had plastic surgery gone wrong that left two nasty scars on my forehead (in your face!). I took propecia as a young man of 23, 6 months before my wedding, and it messed up my hormones (13 years later I have double the ammount of testosterone that I should have, and other inbalances and I think I'm infertile because of it). I took SSRI-s for 10+ years which made things even worse.

So, folks, don't do drugs, don't be vain and, for the love of god, don't ask for help.

Yes, my body is f'ed. Chronic conditions caused by alcohol abuse and this lockdown hasn't helped, too much shite food and not enough movement.

Being prescribed the wrong medication by a doctor and taking it for a period of time, did cause damage to my body. I also have other health problems that are out of my control though. Chronic health problems really can take away our quality of life and can be hard to live with. Our bodies can become like prisons.

LES stands for Lower Esophageal Sphincter, it's a valve that separates your stomach from your esophagus. I weakened mine and got reflux because of it.
2 years later, gastroparesis. It must be connected somehow, before that I didn't had any problems.

My bulimia fucked up two of my back teeth. Dentist said I only need a root canal on one but the other one doesn't look in any better shape.

I also have scars from cutting on my arm that probably won't ever go away. Not sure if I want to get tatted on since I tried that on another set of scars and it didn't look good at all.

Hiatal hernia can be managed. Gastroparesis can sometimes spontaneously go into remission. You can look it up. I sincerely hope that this will happen to you. I wish you all the best.

Sources of potassium really help my gastroparesis, milk is best, next is bananas and potatoes.
