I've been seeing a lot of this. Does anyone have the instrctions and info on this method

From the little I skimmed off this article, I'd figure you'd have to do your own research on locally available products and mix and match the right chemicals. A small, sealed room and a bucket to mix in would be all you need. Seems like a similar principle to mixing vinegar and bleach to get mustard gas, the chemical reaction produces the gas itself once the two chems come into contact, so all you'd have to do is mix and wait, right? I might be misinterpreting though.

It's mentioned in my copy of the pph (2019). They gave it a peacefulness rating of 3/10 and a safety rating of 0/5. For these reasons (and maybe others) they didn't go into much detail about it.

I looked into this method, but the gas it creates, Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is highly toxic. I read somewhere that 25% of the people who have died by this method are first responders who find the bodies, although it can also kill other people in the building. So, mixing the ingredients to make the gas in an enclosed, sealed space like a car, bathroom, closet or tent, could kill you, but it could also kill the person who opens the door.

People put signs up etc about toxic gases and don't open the door, but it's still a really tricky method, especially if you live with someone else or in an apartment building.

It seems a rather quick and painless death but with a real big drawback of you maybe taking someone with you. It's defintely really simple to set up though but it also does make me curious as to why the 2025 PPH doesn't include much details and why it gives it a 3/10 on the peacefulness scale. The mechanism of death should just be you pass out in a breath or two without wearing anything special or requiring too much setup.
Just a bucket and 2 chemicals. I don't think you should do this at home or in a public place like a hotel. Could maybe try finding an abandoned building or going into a forest somewhere. The damage to the environment wouldn't be that great.

I have an idea why the rating is low. If you do exactly like it is mentioned in the pdf, the air you breathe won't be instantly >1000 or >2000ppm. It takes time for all the h2s to leave the solution as a gas and diffusing into the air. If you are not able to :

1)Hold your breath for long times (and I reckon that holding your breath in that intense moment is more difficult)
2)Find a way to make your environment much smaller so that the concentration/ppm of h2s goes much quicker.

Mind you, inhaling lower (like anywhere between 10ppm and 500ppm) concentrations of H2S is not peaceful nor painless. You'll feel pain in your eyes, irritation in your throat and nose. The one-two breath lose-consciousness phenomenon should only occur if that 1-2 breath consists of at least 1000ppm or 2000ppm.

PPH doesn't define the meaning of "peacefulness" in the first place. I guess, its authors wouldn't rate instant death from firearms as 10/10 on their peacefulness scale, simply because leaving bloody mess is commonly associated with violence or cruelty, although in terms of physical comfort, instant death is better than oral or IV administration of pentobarbital, which they rate as top peaceful.
