Discussion Deleting social media

I've seen people talking about not leaving active social media, i don't have this problem because i already made up the idea around me that social media isn't something good for privacy and some things that might be seen as someone just being paranoid with their stuff online, which icl it's weird. But, i think it's a good method of shutting all down with a backup excuse. Would anyone here like if i shared my thought process on how to do this (as a resource)?
