Is it possible to induce yourself ventricular fibrillation by using a defibrillator on yourself without having a heart problem? Would have to be a model with "manual mode" since the automated models wont fire on a normal heart.

It isnt a sophisticated device at all, its just a bank of capacitors that store a large charge and release it in a short spark of around 5 miliseconds by closing a circuit with the heart.

Its possible to induce fibrillation with "an electric shock" but there are so many types. A cardiologist may know exactly what type of shock is needed since they intentionally induce VF it right before fixing it when testing implantable defibrillators.
