Imagine being an inmate on death row and after years on the block or whatever you resign yourself to your fate, come to accept it and just sort of wait for the time to come.
Then it is decided that capital punishment is no longer permitted and you get life inside with no chance of parole.
How do you think that would leave you feeling?
Relieved or peeved?

Peace friends

Definitely relieved as that means I can continue my case and avoid a potential terrible death. Lethal injection is far from peaceful.

I might be upset, unless I was enjoying my time in there for some reason and wanted to live awhile longer.
