  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Is there any wild country in Africa/Asia/Latin America where poor homeless person can just die (because of poison/VSED) on the street and be left alone?
It seems like everywhere in these modern times if someone would be found unconcious then he would be brought to hospital and be cured/force fed. After that he will be left with healthcare costs and finally end in a jail due to debts.
What a nightmare 😰
Maybe in the case of the very poor country they would at least let him die if he would have ended in a vegetative state.

Are you in Latin America or cam travel there?

I would check out Suriname. It has one city of about 200,000 people, or half the population - Paramaribo - and virtually the entire rest of the country is jungle interspersed with villages. You could catch a flight to Paramaribo, travel ten miles outside the city into the rainforest, CTB and never be found.

If that's out of the question, try an abandoned building or a forest. Not that hard.

Lmao if they jailed people in the US for not paying medical bills I would be incarcerated for years to come. I didn't think that debtors prison was a real thing in developed countries nowadays? Idk I've never paid a hospital bill in my life save for a few hundred bucks upon leaving the emergency room and that shit isn't even on credit reports.

I live in the U.S., and I have found that the price of medical care is putting it bluntly way out of whack. One doctor I go to is $8,000 U.S. dollars an hour. For the most part they no longer can put medical debt on one's credit report.

I have always thought that medical and dental care should be no cost to the patient, as rich people do not ever have to worry about going for medical care and not being able to pay, we are all equal as far as health care should NEVER be a privilege but a fundamental human right period.
