Do you mean quantum immortality? I think that sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.
I do believe in reincarnation or afterlife of some sort and quantum immortality can be a part of it but isn't always....like you can shift to a dimension where you didn't die or a different version of you remembers dying.
I understand you are struggling with the death of a loved one. Try checking out accounts of NDEs.

Is this like a human centric thing? Where death is an illusion for humans but for the billions of insect and animals and sea creatures that far outnumber us, they just die. Circle of life and whatnot

When we say someone died, depends on our believes some say our souls move to another life in between until the day of judgment, some say we just die we don't exist back to dirt. I'm not religious so I don't read about others I feel like it's very personal. To me and through my work with hospice nurses and watch patients dying in my floor, I witnessed people last words and some were talking to their dead loved one seconds before they took their last breath. I've seen their eyes they look at something else in that room.
Near death experiences
Thank you so much!

Maybe… When we die, I do believe that only our body die our souls alive and somewhere that we can actually meet when we sleep. I guess we can figure it out when we die.

Well when you die, it's over. You don't feel anything. Like a movie ends and there's nothing left after it's end. So in a sense your death doesn't exist for you since you won't be able to experience anything afterwards. Hope I'm making sense.

You do! but I do believe differently. I want to see my son I want to be with him again so I'm hoping death is not the end.

Did it seem to bring them peace seeing their deceased loved ones before they passed?

I suppose if you want to think about it like this. Death is irreversible. It can be something akin to setting off a firecracker or sparkler or any type of explosive. After that chemical chain reaction has transpired it's been used up and can no longer commit to that chemical reaction again. Likewise humans are akin to a very slow chemical chain reaction no different than a explosive going up it's just happening much more slowly.

I've heard it said before that what you ate for lunch today was the equivalent of about a hand grenade and energy it's just you control that outburst. I think scientifically you can argue things like gravity might not be an actual force but just a property of reality or that the passage of time is some sort of weird illusion of consciousness.

However arguing that death doesn't exist and is some sort of illusion Might be akin to saying that Explosive chemical process didn't actually go off? I'm still open to the idea but maybe you just need to redefine what you're trying to say I'm not sure I quite exactly follow?

death is generally considered irreversible. When an organism dies, its biological functions permanently cease, and the processes that sustain life, such as respiration, circulation, and brain activity, stop. Once these critical systems fail and the cells begin to break down, the organism cannot be brought back to life. Modern medicine can sometimes delay death or revive someone from certain conditions (like cardiac arrest) if treated very quickly, but after a certain point, especially when brain function has ceased, death is final and irreversible.

From a scientific standpoint, once biological death occurs, there is no evidence to suggest that an individual consciousness or life continues in any form.

Thank you and it make sense. I did see some hospice patients who claimed they saw their loved ones or a space with light, etc. what you think about after life?
I agree. What we call "death" is in actuality awakening, waking up from this dream, like my name says.
Wow it's beautiful! So we're not really living we live when we die?

Thank you so much for explaining your view, what I'm saying is it's possible that when we die, only our bodies die but we still have soul and that will move to another space? our soul never die just the physical body similar to after life believe. I didn't die or come back from death to be sure. None actually can say for sure it's like a mystery we will find out when we die physically, however did dream about my son a couple of times. I saw him in beautiful places and he told me "mom I'm not dead". I think this life is one stage but we still continue to another stage after life but with a different body
Did it seem to bring them peace seeing their deceased loved ones before they passed?

I believes too! Thank you so much it gives me hope knowing this.
Yes, some patients told me I wish I never came back I saw my mom she was waiting for me, some said we saw a space with lights…
I'm so sorry you lost your son. Life is so hard. I wish you nothing but the best.
Appreciate that!
