Yes I am. Nothing whatsoever goes in.

I've read differing views in this. Some say it's a very peaceful way to go. Look up terminal dehydration. In countries where euthanasia is not legal, terminally ill patients opt for terminal dehydration, and palliative care folks have said in interviews that the patients passed on without much pain or discomfort.
In palliative care they were probably on high doses of morphine and being sedated to make the dehydration and starvation process more comfortable.

What @Pookie said. Like you say, a patient voluntarily stopping eating and drinking isn't euthanasia, so doctors are "allowed" to prescribe medication to ease their pain.

It says in the dehydration method that the body starts using far cells that are rich in water but what if I'm already super skinny like 80 pounds and 170 In height, wouldn't it be quicker as there are almost no fat cells left????? Also what are the risks of this method if not completed?

If not completed I would think of possible renal damage and/or multi organ systems damage. Anything really, as every organ in the body can be damaged.

It could cause a cardiac insult or dysrhythmia resulting in long term heart issues.

A cerebrovascular event could occur, and this may result in long term neurological sequelae.

Acute delirium and weakness may cause one to accidentally injure themselves falling down, or in any other imaginable way.

Sezhian had been without any fluids for 36 hours when I was chatting with him. He felt ok he said. After that he has not posted again. He was very determined, he said.

I wonder what happened to them. Dehydration doesn't seem like a pleasant way to die at all.

Starving is not realistic. It only hurts for the first week or so. After that you just go numb and become more and more apathic. I went almost a month and I was "fine".
It was bad when I started eating again.
THAT hurt.

It didn't happen to me, but another guy started collapsing with stomach cramps. It's not like you can just sit down for a few days and wither away. It would take a ton of willpower and noone around to interfere for months.

Rather than full-on starvation, I believe counting calories and restricting my food intake like an anorexic does would prove most effective over time. I remember being afflicted with anorexia in my early teens and even though I was dangerously underweight I don't recall there being any pain from it. It eventually reached a point where not eating felt relatively euphoric, and I no longer experienced traditional hunger pangs.
The difference is though, that you no longer suffer with anorexia, (well done on your recovery btw) and the end result is not the same. Anorexic people don't really want to die, they want control over something and they want to be slim/thin.
The decision to starve oneself to death is merely a method to end one's life, and the hunger pains wouldn't bring the same satisfaction as it does to someone who's anorexic.

Last year I had gotten sick and couldn't keep anything down and pretty much stopped eating. My wife made me go to the Er. I had lost over 30lbs. I was in a lot of pain. I was exhausted. When they put me in the Er and hooked me up to an iv the pain of them trying to find a vein made me cry horribly. Before this I had been anorexic and bulemic since I was a teen. This time however was the worst. I don't recommend it. I still have issues with food and most days get sick every morning to start my day.

May I ask how many days you have starved yourself? If you don't mind.
