Considering how close to Christmas it is now, its unlikely that ill ctb until early 2026

I really hope to check out naturally as soon as possible, but to actually CTB is going to wait until early 2026. I do not want my wife and daughter to associate Xmas with Dad checking out. There is still a chance the business turns around in the early new year. If not, then CTBing in 2026 means a new tax year so the wife is able to do better financial planning with the real estate and investments. If I knew how much planning went into a successful transition when one is older, I would probably have CTB when I was single with nothing.

last day of classes before Id have go back home for break. I won't be able to come back to the dorms since I didn't register for spring semester classes. So it's my only choice. everything else is ready I just have to get over the SI

Me too I was supposed to go a few weeks ago but I backed out as if my life would get any better. I already stopped going to all my classes, stopped doing all assignments, skipped exams, and didn't register for next semester classes.

I read something here that advised against CTB'ing around the holidays for the sake of the people surviving after you. Probably the only reason I'll atleast see '26

won't be dead before 2026, but hopefully i'll be gone not long after new year's day. trying to ride through the holiday season as that day approaches. it's difficult, but surely getting closer and closer....
