Darkness, i came to knock on your door.
Forgive me, I thought i could be smarter than you, I thought I could escape you somehow.
But you happened to be there always for me.
In the walls I could feel you, sometimes dragging me to my own disgrace and sometimes comforting me in my sheets at night. Darkness, you know how hard it has been for me, you have been with me all these years. Oh friend, I was naive to think I could be something more than your dearest friend. I was delusional to think there was a space for me here, a world that never welcomed me in. I can't put others shoes to wear them in order to forget about me, I can't escape the darkness that comes within me. Darkness, you have wronged me and you have supported me too, how silly life can be. How naive one can be to think it could be better or different, if at the end there is the realist truth awaiting for me. Darkness I am soon to welcome you with my arms, i need to embrace you and stop fearing you a bit, you always showed me a place where i could cry all my blood tears, through my cut skin and scars are your image, I am willing to go to you soon.
