The world's a little quieter,
A little colder, too.
Since you left this earth,
And bid us all adieu.
The memories we shared,
Are all that we possess.
But they're not enough,
To ease this emptiness.
The laughter and the tears,
The secrets that we kept.
Now all we have is silence,
As we silently wept.
You were more than just a friend,
A light that shone so bright.
Now we're left to wander,
Through the darkness of the night.
But in our hearts you'll always be,
A cherished memory.
And though you're gone, we'll carry on,
With love and legacy.
