Hopefully, it won't get you in trouble. Help exists, it just sometimes not here when we needed it them most, or show up when we expected the least.

thank you for the kind words, a place like this is so supportive, I am home... I gave them two options, I go home or I am off the bridge the wrong way, they sent me home.
I don't know what I wanted my mind was a blank when I left home, but being on the edge the water 100ft below, I felt so calm, I felt at ease, Nothing could come at me from any angle, nothing could touch me, nothing could break my peace,
It was perfect apart from thegoddamn police, eurgh

turns out they had sent 6 police units down, plus they fully shut the road! like what the hell? Waste of resources
This morning, its like nothing has happened, its like I wasnt there, kinda glad I have this thread.

I had no intentions last night, but knowing what I know now I wish I had stepped off, they would have had no one below to pull me from the water, they would have had no chance of saving me, I always thought there would have been someone below due to the risks, but nope!

A couple thoughts, if I may. You said the water was 100 feet below the bridge. While anything is possible, 100 feet into water is not likely to kill you unless you have particularly brittle bones. The Golden Gate Bridge is 220 feet to the water, and most are successful. However, it's not just the plunge. The water and currents at the Gate are vicious depending on the time of day; even if a jumper survives, he will likely be injured and unable to swim and cope with the currents before the Coast Guard arrives, leading to drowning. Sharks are common in the area so he could get gobbled up. You mentioned swans below you so I assume the water below you was placid, say a lake, not swirling ocean waters.
