CTB while on psychedelics?

Has anyone explored this possibility? Do you think it would make a difference? Personally whenever I am tripping I feel more convinced of committing suicide. It seems like the obvious and right thing to do. It would probably help me feel calm and go along with it.

Thought about it as well. You wouldn't be the first, Aldous Huxley caught the bus on acid.

Impulse control is certainly low on shrooms or LSD, which could be a plus. However, on psychs you tend towards emotional extremes. As the finality of what you are about to do sets in, it could be amazingly peaceful and beautiful or it could be real-life hell. That's why I'm not so sure. Maybe an opioid is more fitting.

I feel like that would just increase someone's likelihood of ending up as a vegetable personally, but I agree with Aaron about maybe an opioid.

It wouldn't work for me (on acid I get all river flowing by you know how I feel) but it probably depends what method you have in mind. People jumping off buildings on LSD was a big element of early anti-drug propaganda.

I've been thinking seriously about the possibility of doing it on mushrooms, psilocybin blows my mind up in such an incredible way I can lose fear of death.

With mushrooms, I couldn't think of anything more terrifying than the thought of ctb whilst tripping, even the thought is likely to spiral into a bad trip. Maybe everyone is different with it.

Interesting concept. I don't know that it would work for me, as drugs in general give me a feeling of wanting to be here.

Edited to add: I could see myself CTB'ing under the influence of alcohol. Also, I occasionally use cocaine. Alexander McQueen (fashion designer) was on coke when he ended his life. I could maybe see myself going out like that.

I guess it depends a lot on the way you decide to do it. I could see myself ending it with an exit bag while on shrooms, for example. You'd just fade away.

Interesting, instead the thought of suicide is what has calmed me down during the last couple of trips. I would feel so bad that thinking about that would give me some peace.

i don't know how smart it is, but I'm definitely going to be with Lucy when I ctb.
