Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

To preface, yes I am above the age of 18. Just because I go to school does not mean i'm not an adult.

In a few months, my school is conducting a field trip in a particularly canyoned area, and one of the sights we will stop and get out to see is a massive bridge. The bridge is around 600 feet above water that is only around 5 feet deep. Whilst i understand this would be traumatizing for my peers and staff members on the trip, I will certainly be dead and thus there is nothing to worry about. I was wondering if anyone has ever done anything like this or if it was covered by major news outlets? Thought it might be a somewhat unique way to go.

It's not unique and it'll more than likely make the news.

I don't think it's worth traumatizing people just to die uniquely. any death is important, and it's not made more or less important by how flashy it is. if you pass in a more standard way, I don't think anyone would discredit you for your method, they'd focus on the fact that it happened. besides, if you do ctb that way and it makes the news, the vast majority of people wouldn't be impressed. most would just be somber and maybe a bit annoyed that you chose to do it in public.

You do see stuff like this all the time. People trying to take selfies in restricted areas and then they end up slipping, falling and or other things that end up in resulting into severe injuries or death. Obviously you can make it look idiotic accidental death, even though you have an hidden agenda behind it.

Why care about traumatizing people, its only you thats sentient from your point of view. Let them feel pain, be opened up to how the world really is, it doesnt matter

that reasoning relies on an egocentric worldview. the world is cruel largely because of the choices people make. why be someone who contributes to the negative state of the world? of course it's not realistic to think you can significantly improve the world as a whole, but things aren't black and white. there's no obligation to improve the lives of others, but the world being bad doesn't justify making it worse. and it can always be made worse. anyway, there's not much to be said here as it's fundamentally a matter of empathy.
