Discussion CTB in hotel.

Hey guys I was hoping you guys tell me if it a good idea or not. I was think of getting a hotel for part of the day and ctb. My thought behind this is I don't want my family to get suspicious. I don't want to do it at the house for the potential reminder they may get and some people aren't comfortable being in a room some has passed in. The reason is so they don't deal with what I'm guessing is police, paramedics, coroner, and detective I feel like that could take hours that they have find a place be. The thought is that once the time slot is up they find me and my family just has to deal with being told that I passed. Ps. The time slots are for 6 hours.

I was thinking to do that too...I would just book it for longer, say a couple of days, to be sure not to be found to soon and God forbid saved

Yes, a hotel would be a very good idea.

i think that this is a good idea, many people CTB in hotel rooms, i myself want to go this way simply because i don't want my family finding the corpse, someone has to find it and it will probably be somewhat traumatic, but my family has suffered enough. at the end of the day it's a simple corpse and since i'm going to use an overdose or maybe SN, i don't think it will be as bad as finding someone who just shot themselves or a jumper spattered on the ground.

you also get privacy and time, some methods require many hours to work and being in a hotel gives you enough time to succeed and not be found too early. that's what makes most methods fail.

and another advantage is that you can have a very nice room with a nice view depending on where you choose the hotel, i'm planning to do it in a beautiful hotel that is known for its hot springs, nice and cozy and deep inside a mountain, seems like the ideal place to spend a couple of days in and then go out peacefully at night.

Its best to plan on what steps to take if failure happens. Is 6 hours enough to "get better" and then get home to plan on a better attempt?

I work better under pressure so if anything i will make sure im succesful. My planes method is SN I think 6 hours is sufficient. Ps. I found out for sure and it's 8 hours.

I would like to ctb in a hotel too, first reason
n, don't want my family to interfere nor find my body first. But there is also another reason, sometimes the media just tries to feed from others and I would not like for other people know of my passing, so if I ctb pacefully in a hotel room that has certain standards, they will try to do everything that there is in their hands to try to cover it up. So the shit show will be reduced to some people.

be considerate & use a method that isn't messy! an overdose will be okay, a gunshot won't. plenty of people OD in hotels & even motels

This is a concern of mine too. I don't want my loved ones to have to go through a long & or intrusive process on top of losing their son/brother. I think it's a good idea for the reasons everyone already mentioned. Plus, I've read on a couple of threads here about suicide lowering property values. Which makes sense,so...

Unfortunately, there's no ameliorating the impact CTB has on others whether it's done in a hotel room or at home. Some people do it at home because that's where they feel most comfortable doing it despite others living under the same roof. One guy I know even did it in my workplace. Wasn't a pleasant sight and disrupted the business until the police established from CCTV that he had hanged himself.

Planning to book three nights in a boutique hotel just out of personal preference not because need to.
