it may be extremely absurd but one of my reasons for ctb would be noise.i hate it so much. im hearing dogs barking, neighbors shouting, traffic, neighbors TV...all day long. plus my tinnitus of course. i long so much for SILENCE. absolute and eternal.

anyone else?

Why not move out to the country side, or at least just way from the city?

Have you tried earplugs or noise cancelling headphones?

I also have problems with noise, especially when it's outside of the house. I have less of a problem with my parents or their guests.

Worst is kids screaming, it's pure hell.

Note it's not ever been like that, only since the last 2 years or so.

I easily get sensory overload from noise, heat, bright lights even certain smells... it's infuriating.
It might be one of the reasons why life feels kind of "too much" for me, I'm always experiencing some level of discomfort.

I don't think it's absurd.
I also live in a very noisy place & with no way of moving elsewhere at the moment. The constant noise 24/7 really gets to me.
I was suicidal before I moved here, but if I hadn't been I think this would drive me to it.
I always wear headphones/earbuds when I'm out (whether I'm listening to music or not) but it's not possible to do that all of the time indoors. Having music playing, but not too loud helps a little bit sometimes because it's "my noise" & somehow reduces a little bit of the other people noise (or distracts me or something) but I can't handle that all of the time either.
