The mainstream accepted belief is that CTB is an act of cowardice. However, anyone who has ever contemplated CTB knows that it takes a lot of courage and soul searching to reconcile oneself with the fact of finally killing yourself. For most people, I believe (I could be wrong- but drawing from my personal experience) it takes a lot of research to try to find confirmatory arguments of why you should CTB. Of course, we always know, somehow in the back of our minds, some of us were never meant for this life--- risking appearing better than other people who are ok in accepting that they were meant for this world---.
If you decide to kill yourself, everything and everyone will be against the idea---, they will even diagnose you as having a shortcoming of sorts, and make up all types of reasons why you need help and they will shame you and take away any dignity, justification or reason for wanting to CTB.
Well, the post is disorganized, but, it boils down to if you can get over all that and still CTB, you must have a lot of guts/courage/heroism in you.
