What do you prefer?

My personal choice is to buried. I also wish to go with a natural burial (no coffin). I would not want my body to be burnt.

Thank you so much. He is the only animal I've ever felt such a bond with. Lost him to cancer at 6.

I hope he is at peace and greets me, meowing like he always did. x

Cremation is the only option i would ever consider, unless i could just dissapear out of thin air into the........the Void.....

For me it would definitely be cremation. When I catch my bus, I know some of my family will be devastated. I feel selfish as it is and I feel like having a place to mourn prolongs the suffering.

It's not daft! I know I think about burial and cremation thinking which is better. Being buried or being burned? Then i think, i wont know the difference! :)
I cannot wait to join my husband either. In fact that's what was on my mind during the entire burial service!

Cremation has always freaked me out. I like the thougt of being buried without a casket straight in the soil. It seems like the most natural way to do it. I have NEVER liked the idea of cremation. I know it is the most cost effective but something about it seems disturbing; ashes sitting in a vase. To each his own though. Some prefer it.

Natural burial sounds great! Being useful at least in death by providing nutrients to the environment.

you just made me cry, i also had a strong bond with my cat and every day since her passing i've missed her greeting me when i entered the house, it was so sweet to see her excited about it and meowing as if speaking to me. she also died of cancer at 13

and as for the subject, i've given this quite a bit of thought, and i want to be cremated, then i hope my ashes will be scattered with the ashes of my kitty in a deep forest, far from society and in a place where this world wont be able to hurt us ever again.

Hi Sael Vollmond,
I have went back and forth on this. At first I wanted to be cremated and have my ashes scattered in a few different place that were of importance to me and where I lived. Now however I have changed my mind and I want to be put into a casket into a mausoleum. This is pretty much for sure now what I have decided on. I have the money set aside and everything so try to make it easier and cut down on the suffering of loved ones if that is possible.
