Would you rather be cremated or have a proper burial? And what is your reasoning behind your choice? I'd like to get an understanding of the general consensus in this forum as I'm not sure which method I'd prefer myself. :p

Cremation. My corpse doesn't end up taking any room. It's just always been my choice. Other than the room thing, I don't really have a reason.

Cremation. The rest of my family have been. There's not really anyone who would visit my grave. Not terribly keen on the idea of rotting in the ground. I like the idea of those more 'green' burials where you feed a tree or something but, I don't really care about anything fancy. Just a direct cremation- no funeral. No pressure for people to travel miles and miles for some dry service. I doubt many would anyway.

I like the idea of my ashes being scattered in the sea but again, I'm not sure who I could ask to do it. Ultimately though, I doubt it will make a difference to me. I'll be dead. It's just a nice idea.

I wish sooo much I could be cremated because after I died I just wanna disappear forever no grave no nothing…….as if I was never here.
Unfortunately my family probably won't do that, I'll get a grave and all the hypocrites who were never there for me when I was alive, who blamed me for my failure etc all of them will stay there and cry, something i absolutely don't want! I was alone in this life, I won't leave a wife, children, a group of friends, any achievement, any change to this world nothing behind, just a 26 year old young man who never found his place on earth but instead suffered tremendously and in the end killed himself….

I'd prefer to be cremated, but honestly, I don't really care about it.

This. Or chuck me in the river or something.

Don't see the point of keeping my remains somewhere. I'm already dead let go of it.

cremation will always be way too scary for me.. like what if I end up still somehow being able to feel what's happening to my body once I'm gone 😟

I also kind of just want to stay put and be one with the earth 💗🌎

Definitely cremation. I'd like my ashes to be scattered somewhere in nature, but unfortunately, that's illegal in my country so I'll end up underground either way.
Overall, I think burying people in coffins and urns is rather strange. I probably like the idea of a green burial the most, but where I live that's also not an option for my future remains. *sigh*

Cremation seems weird and inhuman and I cringe at the thought of the fast destruction of my body. It'll probably be what happens, though.

Green burial. Traditional burial uses harmful chemicals. Cremation uses gobs of energy. Just let the Earth have me back.

Just be cremated and forgotten about so it's like I never suffered in this torturous existence at all, I wish I could permanently erase this existence, I wish for no more pain and no more suffering but of course it could never matter to me as if I'm gone I'll be permanently unconscious which is all I wish and hope for, I just want to never suffer again with this existence all gone and forgotten about, for me non-existence is just all that's positive.

Cremation. I find the idea of rotting gross; fire purifies. Burial is also a waste of space and money.

Cremation for the win! It's cheap and you can prepay it for your family.
