Feel like I am spedning so much energy time dissecting/researching U* postal service location points situation during the awful war and how crazy it makes it. I need to chill but not my nature. Another reason this war needs to end to get their postal service running safely, ok, easily again. That is all.

Yea, i asked my friend from the States to stop sending ANYTHING to me 'cause simple snacks package cost almost as much as plane tickets to my location and requires more paperwork than bloody nuclear warhead. Same goes for packages sent into the States. My local post actually stopped taking packages to the States and i have to use couriers like Fedex or UPS to send anything there.

I've sent some Easter snacks and treats about month ago - sending wasn't much of a problem, maybe except price since Fedex charges double compared to what regular post would take. But then, since it was food, FDA came and that was pain in the ass. Luckily i found a loophole that allowed me to bypass most of the hassle filling the Prior Notice but still....

And then my friend tried to send me sth in return. Basically also some snacks in a shoe-box sized package. 400. Four fucking hundreds for sending some Easter sweets. Of course we canceled the package. I'd rather ship my ass to the States via plane and consume the contents of the package "on site". That would be about same amount of cash if not cheaper.
