I don't know if this could help you, and even if you feel stupid doing it, doesn't matter if it's necessary. But I set up scheduled alarms in my phone calender. Have it remind me a day before, 6 hours before, one hour before. When I need to do something of think of something at a certain time. Only way I can be semi functional.
