https://wiki.php.net/rfc/saner-inc-dec-operators (there were talks on deprecating this behaviour, I don't use it outside of 1 test so don't mind that. I do dislike backticks being deprecated, tho oh well, can migrate to shell_exec ... the name looks less pretty tho)
