Im looking at tutorials for minecraft ships and its doing my head in because hardly any of them have how wide and long they are.

Haha. It wouldn't matter if i was building it on open waters but im doing a dock and the boat has to sit in the docks to give it the effect that it's docked and it also can't stick out onto the docks or else we wont be able to walk unobstructed.

Hm that is quite the predicament there! I don't know much about Minecraft but would building something like an anchor help at all?

Unfortunately no. But i was thinking about doing an anchor under the ocean somewhere for aesthetic.
