I can't even remember the last time I cried. I wish I'd know how to do this, because I just suppress everything (as I've said, I still live with my parents, and they must not know), which really can't be good in the long run. I imagine it to be quite cathartic, but how should I know?

It is extremely cathartic. I cried on 1cp-LSD. You should order it from a lab in Germany before they get around to banning it. You're supposed to lie in bed in the dark & listen to devastating, mostly classical music, you'll love it. Be careful though, you might cry not only tears of grief, but also of inconceivable gratitude because you'll believe that God exists, that He loves you & that everything happens for a reason for about 5-6 hours. My God was a stereotypical grandfatherly Jesus who held me in his arms. Invisible angels (I couldn't see them, of course, but I knew they were angels) wouldn't stop whispering inarticulable, mind-blowing secrets about the universe in my ears. I swear I'm not making this up, I'm not even embellishing.

Interesting choice. This piece and "Tabula Rasa" are the only two Pärt pieces I like; the rest of his output is garbage.
