I have access to insulin and I'm considering using it to ctb. I've seen on a Q&A forum that people can ctb using it - although the success rate is only about 25%. Depending on the answers I've seen this method can be very effective and peaceful, to horrible and ineffective.

I wonder if fasting for a day or so first would help because it would minimize the glucose in the blood? Does anyone here have any experience with using insulin? Or does anyone have any thoughts about it?

I am a diabetic on insulin and I would not even consider it. Most likely will not work and it is not pleasant.

I've read conflicting reports, some people saying that it is peaceful, and you will pass out, others saying you will have seizures and the worst feeling of your life. Makes me nervous to try... also I'd have to steal the insulin from a diabetic family member who would probably need it more than me...

I am also thinking of using insulin due to N getting seized, etc. Type 1 diabetes for 30 years. Definitely, fasting a day before is what I will do. Also, I think the key would be is getting enough units injected fast enough before I pass out. I mentioned in another thread, this wouldn't be like a normal low blood sugar experience. With over 1,000 units, I'd be out pretty quickly. Just need to figure out how I can inject that many units fast enough before passing out AND in different injection sites, which will be required.

Please, do not steal insulin from a diabetic. Okay?
