I fantasied once with a hanging party. We enjoy until midnight and to make sure that no one chicken out, one handcuff each other when standing at stool and the leader of the group was the last person to put the noose on his/her neck. Lastly, one by one steps out and the hanging frenzy starts.
But it's only a fantasy. I doubt that could happen, because I don't trust people and I don't want to be caught in the middle of the CTB. So it's a amuse idea in the paper, but difficult to apply in reality.

Mass suicide, 1st Century style.
One version that I was told is that ten men were selected to kill the other 950 people, then they drew lots for one to kill the remaining nine. The sole survivor then killed himself, and thus only he was guilty of the sin of suicide.
Something similar happened at Clifford's Tower in York, a thousand years later.
