What kind of CO meter should I get? I saw on AMazon they have them for $40 but will that do the job?
meters this cheap will only measure up to 1000ppm (one thousand), which is not enough.
here is the meter i will be using:
it measures up to 10,000ppm (ten thousand), although it is quite costly. i have not found another adequate meter on the market as of yet.
Also is a Cuisinart barbecue good? It will fit about 30 pieces of charcoal (Kingsford).
have you calculated how many cubic meters your tent/ room has? you will need at least 135g of charcoal per cubic meter, to reach the desired concentration of above 10,000ppm (ten thousand).
i do not know anything about the brands you mention, so your next step will be to calculate how many Grams of charcoal you will need.
i am buying all equipment first, then testing. if my grill cannot hold all the charcoal i need, i will just buy a bigger one. this method may require some trial and error in this regard.
i've been keeping an eye out for your CO threads - wishing you the best with your plans!
