I am clumsy. Last week I was walking on grass and somehow ended up tripping and falling forwards onto a road, face first.

I've no idea how I did it. Probably just clumsiness.

The road was empty but it just made me think - if there had been a car, I'd quite possibly be dead
It was all quick.

This has got me thinking - does spontaneity help with SI. I don't want to do it to a truck driver or car driver etc.
But if I had my method readily available, whatever it may be, the spontaneity may help me overcome the overthinking problem.

Is spontaneity an element in anyone else's planning?

If a car had been there, you'd most likely have ended up in the hospital.

That's why I don't want to rely on spontaneity. It might sound good in my head, but in practice, it often leaves too much room for things to go wrong.

I agree that overthinking can be problematic and prevent progress. But in a life-or-death situation, I'd rather think things through a hundred times than act impulsively.

But of course, that's just my opinion. I've never been a fan of spontaneity. Hugs :)
