I do, though I mostly smoke a lot of weed & use CBD pills. CBD helps.
It was also recommended that I try Gabapentin, I haven't yet- so I can't speak to its efficacy.

im not sure if youd say i have chronic nerve pain but i have a back problem that causes pinched nerves and can some days leave me limping.
i highly advise CBD thats what i would be using it i could. either a vape for constant use to keep the daily pain/discomfort at bay. and 10mg caramels that id bite in half (~5mg) for more major pain (thankfully i can still get the caramels)

something else i advise is a nerve cream. its like a muscle cream but for nerves. i use livrelief idk if you can get it where you live but maybe you can find something like it.

It would depend on where you live & if you can find a local company or agency online that can ship to you.

Where I'm from, I'm a client of a medical marijuana dispensary. There they have CBD pills I can purchase, once I've registered & spoken with one of their on-staff doctors (my personal GP would not support the use of marijuana.

Have you tried SNRIs, gabapentin, CBD/medical marijuana, or gingko? Are you getting enough B vitamins?

I have nerve pain/neuropathic pain and it is likely permanent. None of these things helped me personally, but I have heard others have luck with Gabapentin. If not Gabapentin, SNRIs are often used. When that fails, things like CBD are usually next.

I have chronic nerve pain in my back. I'm on pregabalin twice a day. It takes the edge off it, but by no means helps me have a quality of life. I'm constantly in pain, miserable, short tempered and fed up.

HI! Yes I have chronic nerve pain. I was in a nasty car crash, NOT my fault, and my cns, central nerveous system is all messed up. I started on oxycodone then I was moved up to hydromorphone, which is what I am on now. Like usual, I have good and bad days. I was told that as of right now there is no medical treatment. Technology is not there yet. BUT, I have all my global family members here, so that alone makes it better!

Maybe look into getting a spinal cord stimulator. Nerve pain in neuropathy is what they're best suited for. Go to a pain management doctor and inquire about it. A lot of people have had really good success with pain reduction with them.

Are u from uk. Where I'm from , uk, they rarely prescribe opioids. They put me on antidepressants, or gabapentin meds which weren't so effective after short while for me
Do u still have any residual pain?

Have the pain meds ever worked for you. Or were they not effective from the start

Hi! No I am from the Midwest in the U.S.. Yes, I still have some residual pain, but the hydromorphone keeps it way down. I have been on opoids since the car crash in April,2015 and the opoids have been a blessing as far as at least keeping the pain down to where I can function on a daily bases. I am on 16mg. of hydromorphone per day. I can NOT take nsaids or acetaminophen products so I am stuck with opoids. I have ulcers so no nsaids and I have Gilberts so no acetaminophen. I would LOVE to try medical marijuana, but it costs too much. In a price comparison, the opoids cost me in U.S. dollars around $10 per month where marijuana would cost in the range of $500 to $700 per month. You are a GREAT global family member and I pray and hope that you can get help for the chronic pain. All my caring and kindness goes out to you!!! Walter :hug:

Hi! I feel so sorry for you and my heart aches for you. I have occipital neuralgia and other nerve damage and I also have 24/7 chronic pain. I take hydromorphone 4 times a day to try and keep it at a manageable level. I know the hell that you are going through and I send you lots of hugs, smiles, love and SUPPORT. We are in this together as you are part of the global family and when you hurt so do I. All my best to you. Walter

I have chronic pain in my nose from enlarged nasal turbinates pressing around the tissues and being irritated. I don't use anything for it. I got surgery twice and it didn't fix them, they just get large and inflamed all the time. I also get tension around my mandibular muscles, don't know if its from the pain or from the underlying cause of the problem.

I recently sent a sample for a paid gene sequencing test for central and mitochondrial dna at 100x with nebula genomics in the hopes of finding any kind of clue or info that could help to pinpoint the cause of this condition. I think chances at meh right now. I have no other clue as to what I could do.

Yeah, have nerve pain in my entire body, no idea what was the cause, no doctor could identify this issue.
I don't use anything to cope with it, not like I could get anything for it, because of the issue's complexity doctors can't find the cause, and their solution to not being able to find the cause is to call my nerve pain fake.

So yeah, I have my nerve pain raw

🙂
