I'd prefer to be unconscious before the symptoms of hypothermia kick in... but ultimately, if I can ctb either way I'd be content.

You could take some sleeping pills once it's all setup so you'll be poisoned during your sleep. (If that's possible ofcourse - I haven't looked into the charcoal method much.)

Well as your using the charcoal method it should generate heat for hours and help keep hypothermia at bay long enough for CO to work.personally i wouldn't try that method in such extreme conditions though.

A large overdose of medication that makes it impossible to walk would definitely work if the drug stayed in your system long enough. Vomiting would barely be noticed during the process, and you do not recognize that death is coming. But you would need to find a place in the wilderness to succeed. It takes quite a while to die this way...

Would lorazepam do the trick? I plan on doing it in a car... on a secluded road in the woods..

This. Trust me it'll be pretty toasty in there for quite a while
