May I ask why across the wrist? The radial artery which runs along the thumb side of the wrist is about 2-3 millimetres under the skin so can be easily severed. When the artery is severed it will lead to significant blood loss very quickly you could lose consciousness within minutes and death can be anywhere between 10-15 minutes but there is a various amount of factors to consider such as your blood pressure, health, age ectIf you have a small enclosed space like a garden shed or car you would be better off running the chainsaw to produce carbon monoxide which would be a less painful way to die.No. Wrist cutting with anything does not work. You would have to cut off your entire hand to MAYBE bleed out. Honestly it would probably take cutting off your arm at the shoulder. You can't lose blood fast enough out of your wrists to die before they either clot off or your SI kicks in and you call for help. Even if you try, the chainsaw is not going to allow you to be precise. You're going to cut nerves and tendons and lose the use of your hand when you survive.
So many people think wrist cutting works but the success rate is very very low. I suggest you pick another method.Similar threads
