CBTalk Google Group shut down

I logged in recently and everything is gone. Seems like BigBrother decided to block it. It was a private group, so I don't know how Google managed to know its content.
It is is getting harder and harder to keep places of discussions about ctb alive...

Goddamn google censoring any controversial topics. The idea of freedom of speech only applies to non-controversial topics and/or what the masses find to be acceptable. It is really depressing that this is the reality in which we live in. I'm just grateful that we have this place, free of censorship, support from fellow members, and of course, ability to freely discuss methods.

I think it happened just a few weeks ago. When you login there is now an announcement from Google saying that this group has been labeled as spam/undesirable content/etc... and can be viewed only from now on. However even the previous posts are all gone and not viewable.

To be honest , I'm even surprised it lasted this long. Anything even remotely associated with Google is 100% NOT private. I'm sure they scan all groups and chat rooms even if they're private ( just like they used to do with Gmail )

Very bad. ASM already went to ruins. These sites are getting taken down one by one. The places we can go to are getting reduced..Glad we have this place.

Yes, it's very sad as it has very good resources. But it's a google group, it was bound to happen like Suicide Methods Hideout.

This is what I hate about companies like Google. They have no qualms about shutting down every avenue of comfort for people who feel bad if it means the masses are spared the possibility of running into something even remotely objectionable. When will they learn you can't stamp out everything you don't like? It's a fool's mission.

I was in that group and I think that's how I originally found the PPH to verify A's contact info, as well as how I found this forum. I then stopped visiting because it was pretty inactive, but it's still disappointing to see a private, free-choice forum removed.
