I've been testing out the carotid arteries. Pretty sure I found my sweet spot, however when I press them I only get the dizzying sensation for a few seconds, then it slowly fades back to normal. Am I not pressing hard enough, not the right spot, or some other issue?

On top of that, While the sensation is somewhat enjoyable, It's not the best feeling plus SI makes me start to panic.

I mean if you're only pressing and releasing, you're not supposed to stay choked for no reason. If you are though, it's likely a combination of both not hard enough and not the right spot

Are you practicing for night night or partial ?
Or just enjoy squeezing your neck ?

It's odd for me . The one on the left pumps like crazy ... one on the right i can hardly find

I am practicing for partial as a last resort and I can only make my head feel like exploding but I don't pass out.

That means you are not constricting your carotid arteries sufficiently. Place your hands on your neck as if you were going to choke someone upside-down. Your thumbs should rest directly on your carotid below your jawline and the rest of your fingers behind your neck. You should feel your pulse clearly on your thumbs. Now all you need to do is clutch your hands and press down with your thumbs. It takes only little force, if you don't go limp after 15 seconds or feel pressure building then your thumb placememt isn't quite right.
It's more tricky to choke youself with a rope, mainly because it's hard to find a comfortable spot that doesn't hurt the throat. But even with a belt it's very easy to choke yourself out by simply pulling it up over your head with your hands.

Yah same. Partial.

I felt.. somewhat same sensation.
Sides of head warm/hot pumping
This was just with a firm type workout band.
(Not stretchy kind)
I made some weird noises out of my nose and let go.

I've been practice slipknot on shoe lace not sure if this is the best knot. Seems so.
Trying with electric cord. But not going so well.
I think I need to lube it up.

Plan is to tie one end.
Door knob.
Over the door.
Me.

I don't know how to choke someone else either.
Your thumbs should rest directly on your carotid below your jawline and the rest of your fingers behind your neck.
Could you maybe send me a picture of what exactly you mean?
It's more tricky to choke youself with a rope
If I only manage to restrict the carotid arteries with my hands and not a rope how the fuck should I be able to hang myself?
I've been practice slipknot on shoe lace not sure if this is the best knot.
The slipknot looks so weak is the thing.
Trying with electric cord.
Why not a rope?
You can get them easily in a hardware store.
I think I need to lube it up.
The whole rope or only the place where you stick your head in?
It would make it a bit hard to store the rope after practicing.
Plan is to tie one end.
Door knob.
Over the door.
Me.
I don't really understand how to secure the rope on the lever properly.
The first problem I see is you would have to do the whole hitch knot upside down basically which seems hard.
The other problem is that I am afraid that it will slip off the lever somehow, I tied a somewhat hitch knot on the lever and it is 3 rows of rope side by side if you know what I mean but the first row is on the outer part of the lever.
And when actually hanging the door lever on the other side seems to be in the way and generally that you are bound to your door.

And also I don't understand how to practice hanging without actually dying in the end.
And I don't understand which exact position and objects I would have to use for the best ctb results.

Not sure if you've seen this

I think he means flip your hands upside down so your fingers are at the back of your neck/head.
Then your thumbs will kind of fall in place under jaw , right about were artery is. Tilt head up a bit then give it good pressure .
If I only manage to restrict the carotid arteries with my hands and not a rope how the fuck should I be able to hang myself?
anything can restrict them just depends what. That's why I've been messing around with the work out band see how far I can go.
Not to hit wind pipe as well.
Tried with the cord once but could t get it tight enough at the right spots
filled some socks with dry rice. To make like bean bags.
And kinda worked like night night style but I let go after I made noises
The slipknot looks so weak is the thing.
Yes but it somewhat answers your question up there.
The slipknot keeps getting tighter
as I lean forward . More pressure.
Why not a rope?
You can get them easily in a hardware store.
I tried looking for some thin yet strong rope didn't look to great.
Have an electric cord so I'm like why not.
The whole rope or only the place where you stick your head in?
Just where the slipknot/head area is so it moves with ease.
It would make it a bit hard to store the rope after practicing.
True.
I don't really understand how to secure the rope on the lever properly.
The first problem I see is you would have to do the whole hitch knot upside down basically which seems hard.
It's not to bad , I'm more worried of the knob flying right off.

Yah for a lever
it might be a little more complicated. Unless you leave it open in the down position. Then just stick something in the little door lock to keep it from going sideways again.
Assuming this is the lever you have.
The other problem is that I am afraid that it will slip off the lever somehow, I tied a somewhat hitch knot on the lever and it is 3 rows of rope side by side if you know what I mean but the first row is on the outer part of the lever.
Yeah that is a challenging part. If you have a good knot and wrapped around should be ok but I'm not sure. I would try and stabilize it somehow so it can't move open/close
And when actually hanging the door lever on the other side seems to be in the way and generally that you are bound to your door.
For me I'm.leaving mine long enough so I can bend forward on my tippy toes or even knees
having figured this part out yet
And also I don't understand how to practice hanging without actually dying in the end.
Things mentioned above is what I tried so far.
And I don't understand which exact position and objects I would have to use for the best ctb results.
I'll paste a thread might help
And also this I've tried but I let go and spun broom stick wacked my knee lul

I think as I'm fading I just lose strength, but I'm not realizing it. I was under the impression I could make myself pass out.

Just squeezing to find proper placement. I'm considering either. Night night constricts the juglar making the head fill with blood, not fun. partial hanging constricts windpipe, not fun.

even with the partial I've practiced I feel my whole face ..cheeks ... temples...head get super warm and pulse .
Get a little dizzy, nose makes a weird noise . Then stop.
I think once I get some
booze / old meds / drugs
In me I think I'll be able to over come it.
I got the cord at a angle were it tucks super under my chin. Hits the wind pipe but not as bad as I've tried before.

And the flipping hands up side down thing works pretty good for finding carotid.
Not sure if it's possible to pass out by your own hands.
Like how you said lose strength.
