I personally have no compassion for her after what she did to her boyfriend. Women need to be held to the same standards as men when it comes to domestic violence.

Didn't she date Harry from....whatever that band is called? I remember it being controversial, as he was only 17.

Putting a brave face on, worrying what everyone is thinking about you, feeling like there in no way out this time... I definitely relate too

Just finished it. I thought it was a beautiful doc, very much reminded me of the film Amy. She was one of us for sure, cursed with depression but then thrust in front of the British press and burgeoning social media endless putdowns. Absolutely brutal.

We really don't know the whole picture, plus the boyfriend didn't want her to be prosecuted for her actions and even defended her. In a way he knew that she needed help, not jail time. He saw past the one instance of domestic violence and viewed that she wasn't herself at the time.

She killed herself because the magistrate was going to sentence her for the assault on her boyfriend even though none of the parties wanted that.

I have friends who worked with her. Now I'm not saying she deserved to die or what happened to her but according to them she wasn't the nicest person to work with and had a bit of a reputation. I think possibly this could have been one of the reasons the TV companies were quick to drop her when things started going wrong in her life.

which is normal. It's not the fault of the magistrate, he was just doing his job. Sentencing her was a good thing because it'd have sent the msg to millions of women that they'll be punished too if they are violent with their partner. Which is something that women tend to not understand.

I'd love a woman that would punch me and shit, as long as she doesn't do the whole femdom garbage.

The media can big people up to knock them down...
Basically she was worth more to alot of people dead than alive.

As a woman of wealth to face prison must be terrifying but we don't know how much other things like her substance abuse and comedowns added to her death.

Was it worth watching?

I did have a vague interest when I heard her story as soon after I noticed a youtube culture what people are calling 'podcast wars'
Some absolute vile people are trying to get their competition to commit suicide.

That sums up the 'legal justice' system.

She had clear mental health problems, way before she became famous. I saw a lot of her in myself watching the documentary. It just shows mental illness does not discriminate. And those claiming she was a abuser should research a little more. Her so called boyfriend barely had a mark on him from her flicking a phone at his head. There are pictures. Hardly abuse.

She handled the situation wrong no one should be assaulted but he was a piece of work, he leaked the picture to the press and he uses women for money, check out the stories about him below.

Yeah I know one of the stories was about Louis Tomlinson's sister he was worried as she gave him £22,000 to pay off debts as well.

Yes, it was sad seeing all her family and friends morn her so deeply. On another note, although I agree that what she did to her boyfriend was wrong, I don't think she should have gone to prison. I think she should have pleaded not guilty by reason of diminished responsibility - she clearly had a mental breakdown on the night of the allege attack, and came out worst than her boyfriend. But I think that she probably would have gone to prison, as it was trial by media, and the judge may have wanted to make an example out of her inorder to prove a point. Sad.

Haha no you were right she had no right to strike him but he turned out to be a wrongon. That's all part of being in a discussion you won't always like the questions and answers.
