Nooooooo don't do that! If you're going to use a tank, please fill it up with inert gasses like Nitrogrn, Helium, or Argon if you can. Inert gasses don't produce panic response or feelings of suffocation.

EDIT: got carbon monoxide confused with carbon dioxide. Sorry about that.

You should be careful not to provide incorrect information. CO2 is NOT Carbon Monoxide. There's a reason why Carbon Monoxide (CO) is called the 'silent' killer. It is undetectable, which is why it accidentally kills thousands worldwide every year... Why are CO detectors needed if you can feel suffocatjng and panic?
